When using Microsoft Word or Google Docs, don't just make text bigger and bolder to make it a heading. That will work for sighted users, but screen reader users will miss that and just hear it as normal paragraph text. Use actual heading styles, like level 1 through 6.

Just installed this to one of my junk drawer phones, a Pixel 8a. An unexpected side bonus is that the default OS look & feel is dark and mono, which is not only easy on my sPeCiAl eYeS, but will discourage me from idly toying with it. (1/2)

ObPeriodicReminder: If you were born before 1982 and don't have conclusive, *documented* proof of getting 2 doses of MMR, get another dose unless it's counterindicated. The second dose wasn't added to the schedule until later and a lot of us never got the catchup dose.

South Carolina schools recently sent home unvaccinated kids to stem a growing measles outbreak. It turned out 5 of them were infected and, if they'd been at school, could've unwittingly spread it to their classmates for days.

That kind of precaution is now illegal in Idaho.
