Except for the little hiccup I might be experiencing when I get to Chicago, I do recommend going at least once in either a roomette or a bedroom on Amtrak for a long distance ride. Lots of this country you will miss out on at 30,000 feet up.

So looks like my connecting train at 7pm from Chicago to St Louis is cancelled do to a mechanical issue. Hope Amtrak has a solution, ie. Better put me up for the night in Chicago by the station
