Happy to be on BlueSky - hoping to reconnect here with the #RareDisease & NBA communities.
I am mom to an angel 😇 (May 2024) with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, secondary to PURA syndrome - Megan was doubly rare!
I am also a long-time sufferer of Philly 7️⃣6️⃣ers basketball.
On this final day of #EpilepsyAwareness month, we remember our angel, Meg, & will continue to raise #LGSawareness all year long. 💜💚

I now have 2 angels, both born on July 17th, together in heaven. Rest easy, mom. 😇❤️‍🩹

A lot to clean up from that loss at the hands of the Celtics, but sort of encouraging it ultimately only ended in a one-point loss after all that

Good fight from the young guys, get VJ the ball more, and please rebound the damn ball!

We remember our angel Meg, this November 1st, as we mark #LGSawarenessDay. Meg's seizure disorder, LGS syndrome, was secondary to her genetic anomaly, PURA Syndrome. Please remember our girl as we celebrate #EpilepsyAwareness month for the month of November. 💜💚

I say this with excruciating self-awareness as a Sixers fan...

Blowing this series, under these circumstances, would be worse than anything the Sixers have done in the playoffs over the last 20 years.
just realized if the knicks blow game 6 they will firmly be on Sixers Watch™, they need to win to avoid being labeled the new sixers
