Went back to work on Monday. Dusted, moved furniture around yesterday, put up my bulletin board spaces today. Although this time lapse video is 32 seconds, it took me half an hour to put up this bulletin board in real time.

I had one of those school dreams that haunt teachers over the summer. You know the kind where students aren’t listening and they’re running amok and you’re late dismissing class because you’re the only teacher who didn’t hear the bell. But at least I got to sleep in! 😴

I finished reading How to Stand Up to a Dictator by @mariaressa.bsky.social this morning, and it's vital for understanding what's happening in the US right now. I can't recommend it enough, especially if you aren't sure what you can do to advocate for positive change.
