It looked like a promising print, but unfortunately it failed a few layers later due to a clogged nozzle. However, the pattern seems to be easy to print without support. #3dprinting #bambulab #basket #weaved

SvelteKit 3 / Vite 8 will be built on rolldown. You can use it now if you're adventurous!
If you're not using the new remote functions, it largely works without issue and is much faster.
We'd love help in discovering any bugs that haven't been unearthed yet! Post them at github.com/vitejs/rolld...

After a week away, picking up where I left off. Making the last basket parameterised with #openscad.
But actually, I want to do the Viennese weave to make round or rounded rectangular baskets out of it.
Also the new #bambulab nozzles and wood filament arrived. Might do a test #3dprint tomorrow.

It went in a completely different direction than I had imagined, but that's fine. The Viennese basket weave will have to wait; I'm going to weave another basket first.

I finished my Vienna canework pattern (Wiener Geflecht), its just a first PoC, maybe it needs some more refactoring before I might think about some round variation.

Finally #3dprinting again. Had some hotend nozzle clogging and learned about different methods to overcome that. Turns out 'cold pull' is best. Now only 2.5 more hours to go. ;)

New experiences every day. Today: PHPStorm 2025.2.3 freezes after a few seconds and can only be closed via the Task Manager. Restarting the system doesn't help either. Downgrading via the JetBrains Toolbox brings relief. #work #productivity

OK, I generalized it and it now works for even and odd regular polygons. FYI, It is also totally possible to use various transformations to turn these 1D objects into 3D solids (not demonstrated here). Quick and dirty video demo + code:
