Very sorry to hear of the passing of UK artist Peter Knifton. I had some personal dealings with Peter few years ago when he kindly let me use his ‘space pyramid’ cover for one of my albums. He was a gentleman. Rest well Peter.

100% agree with perfectly crafted for its audience. One episode every six or so months really gets the hive buzzing.
The episodic structure makes for great fanfic prompts, the juxtaposition of a cheerful facade with existential dread is always a hit with the kids, there's frequent hints of Deep Lore for people to obsess over, the characters were definitely created by people who know what a Tumblr Sexyman is...

Americans want to watch charismatic people solve moderately difficult problems on a weekly basis. That’s it. And a group of fomo execs and techbros who don’t watch TV drove one of the most profitable industries in the US off a cliff rather than accept that.
Look what happenes when a TV show releases every year, with more than 8 episodes a season.
spooky time is here (would have like to see this all month but I will take what I can get)
I dont need to write that down, I'll remember it.
