I don’t understand why every House Dem (lookin’ at you @jahimes.bsky.social ) didn’t vote no on the *non-binding* resolution and just say “because it doesn’t also honor David Rose, a police officer and Afghanistan war vet with a wife and 2 small children murdered by a political extremist.”
David Rose, the police officer and Afghanistan veteran with a wife and 2 small children, was murdered by a white, right wing extremist man a month ago over antivaccine conspiracies pushed by RFK Jr. and this administration. He did not get recognition from political leaders or even much news coverage
