Smidge of good news on a bad news day - Antone’s was a wonderful neighbor to us for years, and I’m glad I don’t have to worry about them in my lifetime.

It struck me the other day that there's a reason that Zohran Mamdani's celebrity in New York is so arresting. All kinds of famous people live in and visit the city, and for the most part, even when they're recognized, they are left alone or fully ignored.
