This is indeed unexpected, but from another perspective, it may actually make California's gerrymandering plan more credible. Since the court allowed Texas to use the old map, there is naturally more reason for California voters to respect the reforms they support.
In a surprising twist, the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision to let Texas use its mid-decade gerrymander for the 2026 midterm elections may end up strengthening California’s defense of its voter-approved map. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

What's your opinion? The Republican narrative clearly contradicts the survivors' behavior. In this situation, who do you think is more credible?

"Righteous strikes" The Repubs are claiming that all 4 strikes were "righteous strikes" ( #TomCotten) 😫

I get his point. Do you think there’s any way to ensure better accountability in situations like J6?
Mark Warner: "I hope it would remind folks that J6 was an ugly, awful day, and this administration and president basically pardoned all the perpetrators. It's that kind of picking and choosing of facts from this crowd that makes me a little bit crazy."

AOC: This is how our healthcare system got deregulated. People talking about Americans should have the personal choice of getting totally fleeced by insurance companies.

Wearing medical gowns and claiming to be U.S. citizens, yet being forcibly dragged from a car and handcuffed—this is a sight that makes anyone uncomfortable. Law enforcement needs to provide an explanation; otherwise, the public will only become more suspicious.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

House Democratic leaders have introduced a discharge petition designed to force consideration of legislation to extend expiring ACA tax credits for another three years.

This is very important information. The public has the right to monitor the law enforcement process, and as long as it does not interfere with the operation itself, recording can ensure transparency and safety.
You have the right to record ICE.

You have the right to film any operation happening in public as long as you do not interfere or impede it.

Your camera is proof, but keep a safe distance. KEEP RECORDING.

It seems even the president needs to have regular 'full body scans' to stay healthy 😄.

If the screening was completed upon his entry, shouldn't the issue be traced back to all the agencies responsible for screening at that time? Simply shifting all the responsibility to a single president seems a bit too convenient.
WELKER: What vetting did the Trump administration do before giving this suspect asylum?

KRISTI NOEM: The vetting process happens when the person comes into the country and Joe Biden completely did not vet any of these individuals
