It’s been a rough few days. Had my uterus removed because I was diagnosed with cancer. The surgery took longer because of a few complications but I’m still not feel very well 2 days later. #cancersucks #fuckcancer

Today it hit me hard that I have Cancer. I have surgery on Monday to determine staging and treatment. I’m beyond scared right now and I have no idea how to cope. #cancersucks

I was diagnosed with cancer on the 11th. I’ve already been to see my oncologist and have surgery for 10/20. It’s like my life has been turned upside down in a single phone call. I won’t be able to keep my job while I’m out for 4/6 weeks. Haven’t been there long enough form FMLA. Cancer sucks.

Almost 16 years ago we were blessed with a vibrant little puppy that was all ears. He was our Super Bowl puppy and named after our New Orleans Saints TE, Jeremy Shockey. Shockey had been with us through so many uplifting and challenging times.
