Why are there so many injuries this year in the NHL?
Man-games lost are dramatically up this season.
Roughly 110 players are currently out leaguewide.
That includes 75 players on injured reserve and 21 on long-term injured reserve right now.

At the top of his game, Al Michaels was a brilliant broadcaster.
He was age 35 when he called the "Miracle on Ice."
I would prefer a younger and more enthusiastic play-by-play announcer calling weekly NFL games instead of his mediocre performances.
It's difficult for some legends to step away.

Solid work by @lawmurraythenu.bsky.social .
He analyzed the statistics and broke down the impact that the player has on his team.
LeBron James is an @nba.com legend, but at this stage of his career he has some limitations on both ends of the court.
Are the Lakers better without LeBron James?

In LeBron’s season debut, Los Angeles outscored Utah by one point with him on the court, while they outscored the Jazz by 13 with him on the bench.

This isn’t an anomaly either.

When she was first elevated to this position, I searched for any references to Halligan being successful and therefore qualified for the job.
I didn't find anything that showed that.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but she seems wildly incompetent and just completely out of her league.
