My first time at #CITESCoP20. I can’t wait!
Another heartbreaking story. If this animal wasn't found, they would have likely died from starvation or from the Canadian cold weather - just brutal.
Yes, pets are here to stay, but only few species are actually able to thrive in a home. #WildAnimalsNotPets

I joined my Dutch @aap-europe.bsky.social colleagues today in Den Haag to defend the Positive List in the Dutch courts. Whatever the outcome, we know that listing animals who may be kept as pets is a win win win for all involved. Watch this space for updates on the case #WildAnimalsNotPets

It’s so encouraging to see today that the European Parliament thought about all animals that are kept as pets. Wild animals don’t make good pets. Time for an EU-wide approach to solve this issue to protect animals, people and the environment.

It’s so encouraging to see today that the European Parliament thought about all animals that are kept as pets. Wild animals don’t make good pets. Time for an EU-wide approach to solve this issue to protect animals, people and the environment.
