ACOG reaffirms that acetaminophen is safe for managing pain and fever during pregnancy. No reputable studies support suggestions like those in HHS’s recent announcement linking acetaminophen use in pregnancy to autism; in fact, high-quality studies show no such risk. https://bit.ly/47Wxc59

Kroger will lay off ~1,000 employees.

In December, it announced $7.5B in stock buybacks – which juice stock prices, enriching shareholders and boosting CEO pay.

Just so happens that Kroger's last CEO was paid 457x its typical employee in 2024.

Textbook corporate greed.

The Supporting Healthy Moms and Babies Act would end out-of-pocket costs for prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care—meaning no copays, deductibles, or cost barriers to essential maternal care. Families shouldn’t have to suffer financially to grow. Ask Congress to support families: bit.ly/4nQOzcW

Today is ACOG’s #HandsOffMedicaid Day of Action! Medicaid covers millions of women and families, but cuts in HR 1 threaten that coverage. Follow along and join us in demanding that your policy makers vote no on cuts to Medicaid and affordable health care! #ObGynsInAction #MedicaidMatters

HR 1 means higher costs, fewer services, and real harm for those struggling. I became a physician to provide care, not to watch health care stripped away. Speak out for Medicaid and tell Congress to VOTE NO on HR 1: acog.quorum.us/campaign/128... #HandsOffMedicaid #MedicaidMatters #ObGynsInAction

Congress shouldn’t cut programs that help people afford basic needs like health care. HR 1 would drive up health insurance costs for patients and tear holes in the Medicaid safety net. Tell Congress: vote no on HR 1: bit.ly/4n5vT98 #HandsOffMedicaid #MedicaidMatters #ObGynsInAction

There’s a weird thing on this website and lots of left-wing subcultures, where people love to throw around “liberal” as an insult, but from what I can tell liberals voted overwhelmingly against Cuomo and are rallying behind Zohran now.

Zohran prioritized the working people of NYC compared to Cuomo, who was more interested in appealing to the wealthy and corporations.

That’s no different from our current Mayor, who vetoed the Labor Standards Boards and who is being funded by the wealthy.

Minneapolis is next. 1/

"The people who hate this result the most are the Democratic establishment… poll after poll after poll showing Democratic voters fed up with their leaders in Washington…”
I'm celebrating Mamdani's primary win, too, but we can't get complacent! Mayor Adams is still running as an independent and has a base of support.

Don't take your foot off the gas! #NYCMayor

New York is New York, but wow: The win by Zohran Mamdani says voters are done with the same tired old thing.

CARTER: How could you possibly justify the decision to terminate HIV vaccines studies?

RFK JR: We've been promising an HIV vaccine since 1984 and every year Congress pours money into it

CARTER: Because they haven't come up with one, you then cut the forward motion by getting rid of NIH dollars?

KELLY: Does HHS's vaccine webpage reflects the department's view on covid vaccines?

RFK JR: I haven't seen the website

KELLY: It's kind of troubling that you're unaware of what your own department's website states. It says they're safe and effective.
