I still maintain the 2008 Wimbledon men’s final is the greatest tennis match lf all time but this was something special. Men’s tennis was in a weird place as the big four wound down but no one filled the vacuum. Sinner, Alcaraz and others are doing that and more #RolandGarros

Genuinely emotional at Danny Care’s last game today. I only got into club rugby in 2008 and he’s been an ever present, leading @harlequinsrugby.bsky.social to such success and giving so much to the club. Also might be the last time a sporting icon of mine retires and I’m younger!

It’s still wild you can stream Maidstone United games or listen to commentary on Stones Live and follow live scores on social. When i lived abroad the only way i could follow The Stones was on the (excellent) official website. The internet has done some good… @maidstoneunited.bsky.social

Genuinely a bit emotional about the end of Eurosport in the UK. We had Sky in Switzerland but only in the living room so I'd often have Eurosport Germany permanently on my bedroom TV. It was broadcast in mono audio on analogue cable so you could select English commentary. What a time.
