Generative AI has no fucking place in art. This is a disgrace to voice actors, and every human creative who worked to make Banana Fish. It's disturbing that Amazon would take a story of queerness, especially in this current climate, and use AI to take its voice.

The anime & cosplay community has a deep problem with racism. SquidKid was a cosplayer who committed suicide, in part due to racist harassment on their cosplay posts
Gatekeep racists from fandom, make it loud that they're not welcome here. And white creators, we need to step up & call this shit out

They were constantly bullied and it became too much.
This is why the anime community sucks.

So anyway I restored Daicon IV from scratch. This was a joint project with Chris Person (papapishu), who sourced the incredibly Rare Laserdisc release. The raw files can be found on the internet archive for those interested in processing it yourself. Enjoy! archive.org/details/DAIC...
