Haha I know your post is old, but I searched Sari Solden to see what would come up on BlueSky...her book "Women With Attention Deficit Disorder: Embrace Your Differences and Transform Your Life" has been on-the-nose so far. It's great reading something that I can relate so deeply to.

hennepin county commissioner irene fernando sent an email to mayor frey about a letter she sent him back on 9/17, days after mariah samuels was murdered by her partner. this letter was partially seeking information from him such as the timeline from the city's and MPD's perspective

But damn, sometimes I want to get to the gym in 7 minutes instead of 25. Sometimes I want to be able grocery shop in less than an hour. Sometimes I want to go visit family in the suburbs without having to reserve an HourCar a month in advance. It’s just that financially…it doesn’t make sense 😭

It’s getting to the time of year where I wish I had a car. This happens every year when it even starts to get remotely cold. Then I look at parking, car insurance, maintenance costs, cost of a loan, plus the GIANT environmental impact, and I change my mind.

just got an email inviting me to a training about interpreting best practices for election judges!! Super cool. Seems like the city did it last year for Somali speakers and now they are doing it for Spanish speakers. Which is great, because I don’t know how to explain rank choice voting in Spanish 🤣
