The people in poorer & more rural areas are the ones most likely to lack marriage certificates and passports. They're also more likely to be Republicans. They're shooting themselves in the foot. But the SAVE act should still fail, because democracy works best when everyone can vote.

I was finding some of this funny but it's also legitimately sad as fuck how predatory this entire thing is. Being a single parent is a very lonely experience and I can see how someone could make the fall into delulu imaginary partner land with very little effort...kinda heartbreaking.
