I wish all those people who define abundance as continued growth and unquestionably necessary would just take a bit of time and read Marshall Sahlins' 1972 The Original Affluent Society.
As a starting point.

I am not sure where his family migrated from - with others in a mass migrqtion out of a broken state - but it sure looks like he is teying to recreate the terrors of their broken homeland.

We are excited for this event next week. It is good (and necessary) to see Native issues included in discussions of constitutional rights.

Our thoughts are with the newest victims of climate change. Native villages in Alaska -and elsewhere - are experiencing many of these consequences first.
