To clarify. Billionaires have mansions, megayachts, private armies of staffers. They say things should happen, and they happen. Billionaires don't want an immortality of mediocrity and suffering, they want to be an immortal ruling class of kings. The suffering is for the plebs they own.

The death of King Cheeto isn't really the end. The cultists will have an internal power struggle but the fundamental problems of economic inequality destroying our country, and traitors who believe the Constitution should be ignored whenever convenient, will remain.

I don't believe in open borders, but I also don't believe in dogmatic xenophobia. We should be "open" to the idea of allowing people who are willing to embrace our values to join us. But that is clearly not working when rich parasites can buy citizenship and blue collar workers are thrown away.

At this point, you pay the House of Reps about 70$ per day *just for meals* to sit on their asses and do nothing while people who get 6$ per day for meals are about to go hungry.

If you're not risking miners for uranium, somebody else is risking miners for cobalt, manganese, nickel, etc. We cannot live a modern life without extracting minerals from the earth. The lesson to learn is why PPE and other safety procedures were insufficient and to refine those safeties.

We also need to persistently refute the claim that Democrats are responsible for the shutdown. The Republican party controls the Presidency, the House, the Senate, AND the Supreme Court. The simple reality is that the Republican budget has cuts that they don't want to have their names attached to.

For that matter, most of the time game launch days are a waste of your time now too. With the number of games that just outright do not work until they've been patched a few times, why get excited to be one of the first to play the game at its most expensive and least stable?

I would very much like that man to take the test, live, on camera, so we all know the results. The current administration, given its other observable methods, would very likely cover up any real and dangerous impairment so that they can push through unpopular actions in his name.

Lithium-ion chemistry does not have a significant "memory effect" from depth of discharge. What can happen if the battery is left sitting unused for a long time is that the battery management system may not accurately know the stored energy anymore, but that can be reset by doing a full cycle

With Russia's insane number of police officers and casual attitude toward use of force, not one of them was stopped? What are the chances this was Putin hiring some actors for a little stage play, trying to convince his citizens that they still "need" him to keep the barbarian hordes at bay.

Wouldn't it be more effective to target the excessive added sugars and oils instead. Weight loss drugs are just another aspect of the "unhealth industry" as you put it. What if the food was just healthy to begin with.

To be fair it does change their thermal signature somewhat. So it's not a complete lie, like the fake "armor plates" that some meat gets. But it's also not magic: clearly the benefit it provides is limited and situational. And meat isn't getting the training they would need to know that.
