There was only my husband and I for Thanksgiving this year. My son went to his partner's family's this year. So, I made a slow roasted cinnamon chicken for our dinner. My husband made Polo Bakhleigh, the perfect Persian rice dish to go with the chicken.

A serious study from a Harvard University political scientist presents a statistic worth remembering: Around the world, once 3.5% of the population became engaged in sustained, non-violent campaigns of resistance, change has always happened.Democracy is inevitable, when the people are determined.
A single person in the US, working for the minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, would need to work 90 hours per week to lift themselves out of poverty. That is equivalent to MORE than two full time 40/hr jobs.
