SEATTLE!!!
We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

The audacity of tech bros to build on top of the effort of millions, if not billions, just to claim credit and dismiss any concerns raised by those being affected. No ounce of humility or gratitude, just arrogance. Gross.
NEW: Common Crawl, the massive archiver of the web, has gotten cozy with AI companies and is providing paywalled articles for training data. They’re also lying to publishers who have asked for material to be removed. “The robots are people too,” CC’s exec director told us when we asked about this.
The Nonprofit Feeding the Entire Internet to AI Companies
Common Crawl claims to provide a public benefit, but it lies to publishers about its activities.

Watching Frankenstein in a movie theater that still gives you a physical copy of your ticket (not a regular receipt) made me think of how much I like getting those. Tickets for movies, concerts, flights, and other events are my favorite to collect and paste in my journals.

I don't know if it's Google or Reddit doing it, but auto-translating posts in the search results sucks. Especially when I'm searching for things about grammar, which are language dependent.
