"One of the great liabilities of history is that all too many people fail to remain awake through great periods of social change. Every society has its protectors of status quo and its fraternities of the indifferent who are notorious for sleeping through revolutions.
Not sure who to speak to about this, but I'd like to petition to have a group of Congressional Members be called a collusion.

Ya know, like a Murder of Crows...

A Collusion of Congress.

It's WILD how a single faction of the GOP; Tea Party, MAGA - can completely undo their establishment. Meanwhile, the average Dem voter across the board is saying the same thing - Fucking Fight! ...and the Senate rolls over and shows their belly.

Any Democrat who "trusts" notoriously deceitful Republicans to keep their word on an ACA vote deal is too naive/stupid to be in office.

Let's fix that next time they are up for election. #PrimaryTheIdiots

When asked a yes/no question, "Yes/No and here's why..." Is MUCH better than "Well, you see the Republicans... Yada, yadda, yadda..." NOT answering the question IS the reason we don't trust any of you mofos. We, Independents, aren't voting FOR Dems, we're voting AGAINST Fascism. #WiseUp

THIS is exactly the kind of story that will be used to demonize SNAP recipients. "They're using YOUR tax dollars to feed their PETS!"
Article says it can't be used for such, but combining hungry people with hungry pets is just the story they're looking twist... Great job 🫣

Families on SNAP worry about not just feeding themselves but also their pets
With SNAP benefits going out late, nonprofits are begging for pet food donations to prevent desperate owners from surrendering their dogs and cats to animal shelters.

Can we as a society come together and agree on this one fundamental truth of everyday American life: Much like how trickle down economics is total BS, so too is putting all the toppings on top of the pile of nachos. The bare, dry chips at the bottom - that's us! Can I get some equality in my nachos.

The fact of the matter is I'd rather see the mid-decade redistricting efforts fail. But only if coupled by every purple state going blue and more than a few red states turn purple. Since the latter is no guarantee, I suppose I'm not fervently against the redistricting - I wish it wasn't necessary. 🤷
