Instead of reopening the government and addressing the healthcare crisis they created, Republicans are willing to let hospitals close and people's healthcare costs double.

It's shameful and our communities deserve better.

Mayor Johnson: There are those in this country that have decided, at the behest of this president, to declare war on Chicago and American cities across this country. They have clearly decided that they want a rematch of the Civil War. We will not submit to the authoritarianism that is coming down.

You don't have to judge Columbus by the standards of today. His tenure as governor of Hispaniola was so horrific that he was dragged back to Spain in chains to answer for his many crimes.

Plus he never set foot on any land that would ever be a part of the United States of America.

Every damn day parents of disabled children have to watch this man attack our kids for existing. No provocation, no reason—just hate. He mocks what he’ll never understand and weaponizes their existence for power. We’re past outrage. This is cruelty, and we’re not staying quiet. #Pinks
There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education.

America’s children deserve better than this.
