Getting closer to Manchester and feeling all the #Umbraco vibes already
November 6, 2025 at 10:56 AM
First train of the day is busy, there’s actually another person in the carriage. Looking forward to a couple of days of #Umbraco things when I finally reach Manchester

People say AI is the future, well it looks like it lives there, our future is AI's past. I was just about to prepare any downloads for Friday's Umbraco 17 developer day so I Googled for info, and the AI overview is talking about it as if it has already happened, in two days time... #umbraco #ai

@openvibe.social have added an RSS feed viewer into the app, so now i can get all my @umbraco.umbracocommunity.social.ap.brid.gy goodness from Mastodon, Bluesky and @umb.fyi in one place! #h5yr

Final preparation being made today to the main stage at Codegarden. Have tested the audio visual and all ready for a presentation on Image Optimisation in Umbraco on Friday morning. See you there if you’re at the event!

Thanks @umbraco for fixing the invisible modal bug for Safari in v15.3.0. I’d keep forgetting and then have to switch to Chrome part way through working in the back office. My normal workflow in 15 has been restored, thanks!

You get a great service from @umbhost.net and @aaronsadler.dev really knows infrastructure and hosting…
Do you have Azure or On-Premise infrastructure for your #Umbraco websites?

Are you struggling to manage these efficiently?

My company @umbhost.net offers consultation and management for these setups!

Find out more here: umbhost.net/hosting/infr...

Or message me directly for a chat 🙂

Been a great couple of days at Umbraco Spark and the Package Jam before. Had to head off early as trains tomorrow will be a nightmare. See you all at the next one. #umbracospark

So I’ve updated my Bluesky account to use my mttblss.uk domain, moved mastodon server to the #umbraco community one and linked my blog for authentication, if everyone is reading this post then I might have Openvibe all configured correctly too…

This is so cool! As a photographer their have been so many times I’ve been doing the lens change juggling act clamping a lens between my arm and body. As a wanna be astronaut, I’m just a little envious of the whole thing. #photography #space #nasa. https://news.sky.com/story/flatplan-13292245

In orbit, there is no need to find a clean, flat surface to change a lens - all the components simply float in front of you.

This week I wanted to move 1.5TB of data from an 8 year old NAS to a new SSD drive. Turns out it was quicker to download my online backup of the same data than it was to copy from the NAS by a factor of about 2.5. Data speeds, both disk and network, have changed enormously in that time!

A very #Umbraco flavoured first week of 2025. Had the first brainstorm session with a client and started a new project, in Umbraco of course. Also launched my blog authored in Umbraco 15 https://mattbliss.uk

Love the term “AI slop” from the #umbraco winter keynote 😁

Posting this using the @openvibe.social app which lets me post on both Mastodon and Bluesky at the same time, and see a combined timeline in one place. Neat idea 👍🏻

Hi @gitkraken.com, you're currently advertising Pro for £3 per month paid for a year, but it comes up in the cart at £48 not £36. How can I buy it at the advertised price please?
