TBH, i get that, but its like in an adverserial mode with modern gaming that gets me. HR is fine, extremely ableist and weird in a lot of areas but that goes with the territory but it was developed as a product made to appeal to as many people as possible without any real care for how artistic it is

Its weird because im generally fine with the ugly style of a lot of western adult animation (e.g. rick and morty, bojack horseman and The Midnight Gospel) but this just doesnt land for me at all. Its so shockingly bland despite it intentionally trying to look crude and handmade.
