🚨NEW 🐢 DATA PROJECT🚨

@chefboibex.bsky.social, @seitarowhite.bsky.social and co spent months building a database of climate scepticism and misinformation, as well as an interactive tool that shows you how that information spreads online.

And you can (finally!) find all of it here: torto.se/4j0NNY4

Of course the powerful would never agree, but I wonder what would happen if the veto holding members of the UN Security Council were not the most (or once most) powerful nations in the world but the poorest nations from each continent at any given time?

UK not entering trade war with US, says Starmer.

Wrong assessment. Trump has declared trade war. Extra tariffs on UK steel, motor trade. Trump demanding tax cuts for US corporations operating in the UK.

Appeasement is futile. Don't become the 51st state. Join the EU. Carve a common future.

Love my Netherton foundry pans, they will last more than my lifetime and haven't seen a non stick coating other than flax oil seasoning.
Whilst we're trying to be more environmentally conscious and resource-efficient, can we ban non-stick cooking utensils?

Absolutely nobody needs non-stick utensils. The whole industry exists as a profit-making scam by normalising fast replacement of items which last decades. #UKPolitics #Environment

Bellowhead is a band that, on paper, probably shouldn't exist, but without any shadow of a doubt makes the world a better place by bringing us their awesome, crazy joyful music. Thank you for an amazing gig.

That is how you get to 38! You need to take what you can when you can in every "transaction" that presents itself in your life to get to that kind of point. Leaving stuff on the table for others, especially early on puts you on a path to being merely well-off not super rich.
Lord Swraj Paul, Britain's 38th richest person, has claimed just over £100,000 for 314 days’ attendance in the House of Lords.

In that time he has not spoken in the chamber, submitted a written question or sat on any select committees.

I had a great experience at #CSaP in Cambridge this week meeting exceptional academics Simon Szreter, David Good, Magda Osman, May Hen-Smith and Farbod Akhlaghi discussing ideas about reconnecting value with values. This is an amazing program connecting policy and academia.
