It is amazing, how finishing Typhoon Warning unlocked my desire to write. I’m already 10K in on the new Hidden Empire novella and I should finish it by next Friday. This feels so damn good.

It just now dawned on me that I’m writing in the same genre as Jude Deveraux. I was reading her books at my grandma’s house when I was a young teen. My God, that kid would be squeeing if she knew.

Well, this has been a rollercoaster of a Monday. Last night my car wouldn’t start so I borrowed the Brit’s truck to get to work, which required a stop to gas up and fill the tires. In a pouring thunderstorm. That was fun.

So I was elbows-deep in a 3-D printer today removing this heating element caked with filament. One of my coworkers said, “It looks like Venom.” That it does. On the other hand the printer is now working again so yay for my badass fix-it skills.
