Still not sure if I want to watch The Mighty Nein animated. (Got that month of Amazon Prime free try-out saved since whenever, so I *could*.) The word is very positive, but they've made changes for the new medium, which is fine... but it's just not the version of the story which means so much to me.

Recently hit a hundred platinum trophies on PlayStation, a proudly empty accomplishment, but it sure proves I can be obsessive about stuff. Wanted to take a look back at all the #games, so I'm making a list. Ask me about any of them! And we'll see how much I remember.

I've stayed with Netflix through a lot of price hikes because... well, it's convenient to just not think about it too much and that's how they get you. But if they're buying WB/HBO, I might be out if they suddenly have "no choice" but to double prices for all the extra content I won't have time for.

The scariest accidental command in any word processor is surely Ctrl+N. Because suddenly you're looking at an empty file without any of your work and Ctrl+Z does nothing. Until after that first half second passes and you realize what's happened.

I mean I did just get a PS2 copy... and a PS2... to experience original Drakengard, but yeah. That one. (Also playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic right now and it is great but boy gameplay is rough/dated. I'm sure that remake will still come out at some point ever.)

Pay squeezes in freelance creative jobs are a grim scene.
The expected payments for most musical jobs as a freelancer are the same in figure terms as they were when I first started doing this 25 years ago.

Last time I checked my current rate at one publisher was $70 less than my starting rate there almost 20 years ago, when accounting for inflation. It'll be even worse now.
The one about comic book page rates – again. News flash: Comic book page rates are STILL stagnant, after all these years, and for indie cartoonists it's even harder

When I bought the #diecomic RPG Quickstart Edition this weekend, I got a set of dice with it. Which was, let’s be real, a crazy bargain. But what’s more important is that I did a test role to check this set’s karma, as you do, and I used the percentile dice and got 69. Dangerous dice to RP with?
