Here's some more pictures of the aurora borealis back from October 10th. The sky was basically red, pink, and purple for the early portion of the event. It was gorgeous.

Lenticular clouds are some of my favorite cloud formations out there. Aside from shelf clouds, nothing seems more out of this world than a line of lenticular clouds hovering over a mountain range.
