I feel like there was a sacred pact with late night shows:
Sure a lot of it is de facto advertising created by a complex web of backscratching deals but was for art (movies, TV shows, books, comedy tours, so we’ll accept it.
When they veer into pure marketing, they should be punished by us.

The Beast in Me was fun and promising for a few episodes but I, ultimately, found it to be a slog. I do not think I would recommend it given all the great things out there.
