Went to see Radiohead for the 100+ time I’ve lost count. They were on superb form. I encountered Lee Ross at the after bar(!), this has made Press Gang fan me very happy. Sorry Lee, if I’d realised it was you earlier, I’d have bought you the drink. You were great on R4’s Berlin Alexanderplatz too!

A tremendous scholar, campaigner and bundle of fizzing energy who saved many fine buildings. If you can donate, please do.
It is exactly two years since C20 Society established the Elain Harwood Fund to secure her legacy, and hosted an incredibly moving event in her honour at the Southbank Centre.
We’re pleased to announce the Fund has now reached £81,000 in donations – over half way to our initial target of £150,000. 🧵

Thanks for the re-ups yesterday. Had a spare seat next to me but enjoyed the refocused Cabaret, had time to drop in on some old friends at National Gallery too:

Last night, it felt like a fitting tribute to go to Nottingham’s top AmDram spot The Lace Market Theatre, one of whose patrons was Prunella Scales, to see a production of (her daughter-out-law) Laura Wade’s Home, I’m Darling.

Talking Heads: A Lady of Letters is on as a tribute to Patricia Routledge. We watched these in A level
English, had to write one. Someone in class mistook mine for an original, very much aping the tone of this one. Proudest moment. Never managed to write as well again.

And I said, 'I think their pants have dropped off but you can't fault their broccoli.'"

God, but I want to like PTA’s films but I just come out feeling detached every time. Maybe my brain is hearing the Jonny G chords and can’t quite engage. Just can’t figure it.
