Starbucks' unionized workers are holding a massive strike vote.

If approved, more than 12,000 baristas in 45 states and the District of Columbia could strike.

@sbworkersunited.org says the strike would be open-ended, potentially continuing through the holidays.
Sorry for the late response, I didn't get a notification for this reply for some reason. Only saw it now. I apprrciate you saying that. And I know that for you it's just difficult, so no worries.
Haha, I hadn't. But, yeah, voting not conservative and getting red tories is... yeah.
I can't get over the fact that Starmer used to be a human.
I guess that's what happens when ypu purge your party of anyone not controlled by corporations.
In fact there are already people I've stopped talking to for that reason.

It feels silly to put in effort when the other person doesn't.
Someone had a fun morning, lol.
In case it wasn't clear what I meant there, high margins means more than enough money to pay the people that actually make the game without raising the price of the game by even one cent.
It's also worth noting that games, because they're digitally distributed, have the potential to have incredible margins when widely sold. The cost of production stays static once the game has been made, but the cost of extra sales is absolutely minuscule. So the margin keeps growing.
Btw...

Price go up does not necessarily mean wages go up.

Wages go up does not always have to mean prices go up.

Just to be clear.
People need to stop acting like prices and wages are directly connected.

The day average executives stop making 380 times the amount of money as their workers and ALL workers get a living wage that keeps up with inflation we can start talking about 100 dollar games (maybe).
Most folks can't justify $100 games. Especially if they're chock full of microtransactions and paid DLC.

Especially when these companies are still making huge profits, most of that money going to *executives.*

Especially when these games are often undercooked and their staff overworked.

I never had any game to begin with, so it's alright.
European leaders need to realize: You cannot buy Donald Trump, you can only rent him.
What can I say? Those hips don't lie.
Wait... didn't do already do this in like 2019?
Creatively bankrupt company.
A new ‘THE LION KING’ film is reportedly in the works at Disney.
