Upgraded my 8BitDo arcade stick with Sanwa parts. I probably won't use this for fighting games, but I'm really excited to go through retro arcade stuff with it!

We just landed back in the states! Delicious fresh convenience store onigiri, has been replaced with dry overpriced taquitos. I'm really going to miss Japan, but I can't wait to pet my cat!

One last coffee and curry before the plane takes us back home. Japan was at times confusing, but I love it dearly and it's breaking my heart to leave. We met so many amazing people here. Here's to hoping that we can come back soon!

Shoutout to Aki at 世紀末茶屋 括弧! Dude was so cool! When he heard we liked Chainsaw Man, he took this movie promo poster right off the bar stand wall and gave it to us as a gift. We're carefully protecting it and will frame it when we get home.

We met Ryoko and her mother Rumiko in Shimokitazawa. They were incredibly nice, and shared all sorts of local snacks with us! We were so happy to make friends in the area. Japan has been extremely cool!

This chocolate was technically 2000JPY because we won it in at TAITO Station Shibuya... This was the only thing that we managed to win. Be careful out there kids!

Over 400 days of Japanese Duolingo, but it's time to move on. While I did learn an okay amount from it, the CEO's more recent decision to be an "AI first" company has been really disappointing to say the least. I think there's more effective self driven learning methods out there for me.

Just finished gold stake with every deck! If you don't play Balatro this probably doesn't look like much, but it took me 486 hours to do. One last achievement to go! Only 50 gold jokers left between me and the finish line.
