This is so ridiculous. Until you realize it’s just an excuse to break the system and shift the blame.

AI’s major function in cases like this will be to shield individuals from being held responsible for fixing the things they break, and for delaying that fix, perhaps indefinitely.

One unexplored fact in #AIethics is that generative AI, like other epistemic technologies, will help us understand our own opaque and complicated systems. From law to science to social dynamics, AI (ironically) will make our wild world more transparent. We can work to ensure it does so responsibly.
