We rely on you more than you know to help spread the word about who we are and what we do.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about how lucky we are to have all of you along on this ride. It's because of you that I get to live my dream. Thank you!

What are you thankful for today?
Thankful Day 1: I'm thankful for everyone who supports the Emporium! Your support means the world to us, in whatever form you give it. We love sending out adoptions but we also adore getting to interact with you all, seeing your reactions, reading your commits, and having conversations with you.
Hoodie season is upon us! And, while we do have some epic hoodies available for adoption,I kinda love showing off our fisherman's beanie!

This message, that every story matters, is held so close to my heart!

Please consider doing this with us and tag us in your thankful post! It's important every year, but especially in dark times when it's so easy to get weighed down by hate and what we don't have.

Every November, I challenge myself, and all of you, to the 30 day thankful challenge, in which every day for the month of November, I post something that I'm thankful for. While I do this on my personal page, too, on our Emporium page, I post about something work related I'm thankful for.
My daughter says that Nightmare Before Christmas is a Thanksgiving movie/story. I'm inclined to agree with her (feel free to change my mind). So, pretty much, any time in fall is a good time for some Oogie Boogie!

Let's talk less about what form your reading took and more about what you read and how it changed you.

October means monsters and monsters means Frankenstein.

Explore how Frankenstein came to be and find out what I thought of the book and art of She Made a Monster: How Mary Shelley Created Frankenstein in my review. (link in the comments)

The Witches is the story of a boy who discovers a group of witches, along with his grandmother, are the only people who can stop them. It's fun. It's a graphic novel and it's perfect for spooky season!

The link to adopt will be below!

Is there's something you're hoping to see in the Emporium this holiday season?

The Graveyard Book quickly made it to my wishlist! Bod is a unique kid being raised in a graveyard, taught by ghosts and raised by a being that is neither alive or dead.
I'm going to need to read this book...and soon.
Adopt your copy with the link below!

What are you reading this week?
I'm going to finish Christmas Bliss by Mary Kay Andrews tonight and start The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo after that.
