I finally got Dragon Eclipse to the table. I've only done the combat tutorial but my initial impressions are this could be a really good one. Pokemon style creatures with deck building. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a grind like other Awaken Realms #boardgames

Finally got Deep Rock Galactic to the table and it's amazing! It not only captures the feel of the game but is also a really unique dungeon crawler. I'm usually not a fan of games with miniatures but this one is worth the shelf space. #boardgames

I finally finished my Top 50 Solo Games list for 2024: boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/345...

It's been a very good year for #boardgames with many of my new favourites coming out this year.
2024 Top 50 Solo Games
My top 50 solo games for 2024. I weight games based on what I'm most likely to play and enjoy. Games I've played extensively tend to slide down. It's been a very good year for board games so there i...

Endeavor: Deep Sea! You compete to explore the ocean, hire specialists and conserve wildlife. It's one of those rare games where the rules are pretty light but the decision space is complex. The production is also amazing with no plastic!

This is one of my favourite #boardgames of the year.

Finally won a game of Maquis! Explosives for Nazis all around. This is a neat little solo #boardgame but dang is it hard.

Cyberion is good! Shadi Torbey's #boardgames are a bit hit and miss for me so I'm glad this one clicked. Some of the powers might be better then the others but I need to play more to be sure. It may also be too easy?

Definitely recommended if you want a 30 min puzzly game.

Dustrunner by Jason Glover. It's a good little solo #boardgame where you have to outrun the raiders (and fight some) to win.

It gives you a bit more control than Glover's usual games with a resolution deck and packs a lot of theme into 30 mins.

I appreciate the simplicity of the rules in Barenpark. You place a tile and get new tiles based on what you cover up. Easy for everyone to grasp but still enough thought involved to keep the game interesting for all skill levels. #boardgames

Halls of Hegra. I'm not much of a war gamer but this game is more about survival than anything. Build up your base, shovel some snow and prepare for the German assault. An excellent 1P game. #boardgames

Patchwork! One of the best 2 player #boardgames around (and a decent solo game too). There's an incredibly good balance between maximizing your buttons, filling you quilt and managing your time.

Spire's End: Hildegard. A narrative #boardgame with gorgeous artwork. I love how easy it is to get to the table, especially compared to most story driven games out there.

I've had Bluesky for a while and done nothing with it so I'm gonna start posting boardgame related shit and maybe some drawings.
