Ontario government corporate subsidies reached almost $10 billion by 2023, or nearly triple 2017 levels.

Doug Ford spending more than ‘reckless’ Wynne
As the evidence, including in the latest economic update, clearly show, the Ford government is neither keeping costs down nor unleashing the economy. Quite the opposite.

Tipped employee minimum is still $2.13 in Texas. Of course employers have to make up the difference if that doesn't average out to $7.25, but that also means that every bad shift is hours of work for an unlivable wage

Ontario feels seen.
This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.

But is anyone going to hold Doug Ford accountable for the dismantling of our system? Of course not. All healthcare blame is to be directed to the federal government, because shut up.

What the IEA's latest report says about the energy transition — and what it doesn't
The International Energy Agency's latest landmark report looks like an act of surrender to the Trump administration's fossil fuel agenda. But when you look closer, a much different picture emerges.

Why does Ford think speeders shouldn't pay?? Toronto now needs to tap all of us for the cost of slowing drivers down, rather than using photo radar revenue:
$210 M for traffic calming infrastructure and signal improvements; $31.2M for crossing guards;
$3.9M for traffic safety police officers.
