It's out and it's a full album. Oh boy... 😭🙏💛
The Crutchfield sisters are premiering a track for a new(?) project/band on Friday and, yes, the forecast shows a 100% chance of happy tears being shed.

So fun.

Need to give the original audio (in German) a try. Could talk about Perec like a nerd for hours. What’s new, really ?
Afterwork treats : fancy olive oil and some new (old) Perec.
La Machine (1968, new FR translation 2025) : previously unpublished play about a machine that decrypts poetry by using a Goethe poem.

Not pictured: the olive oil.

It’s unsurprising but a little funny to open the comment section under a vid of the NYC Mayoral Debate & see « Mamdani is a socialist » as an insult for supposedly being a radical leftist, when rn, in France, we use « socialist » as an insult for someone who’s (somewhat) « unusually » leaning right.

I focused this, far too long, thread primarily on policy and tried, as much as possible, to keep personal views limited. Here's what really pisses me off though, at least Conservatives and Reform are honest about who they target with anti-immigration bs, Labour still pretends to be "progressive" 1/5
Very long thread: As with many of Labour's anti-immigration policies, this isn't new. British police have been stationed in other countries for this purpose for a long time
It does however show how Labour is pushing more on anti-immigration than previous governments. 1/
