Paolo Banchero is back for Orlando and the flow is still there for the Magic. Paolo brings it up, pindown for Desmond Bane. Kick to WCJ who goes right to two man game with Jalen Suggs. Miami showing nail help, kick to Paolo for 3.

Refs constantly preventing us from seeing fun things because I guess they think we came to the game to hear them talk? #NBASky

People were saying #Magic gave up too many picks for Bane and then that he was a bust and wasn't gelling but he just had back to back 37 point games. #FuckThemPicks #MakeItMagic #NBASky

Great setup from Austin Rivers to give Desmond Bane a chance to talk about the growth of Anthony Black. AB has showed tremendous improvement across the board and is now the most reliable option of the bench for the Orlando Magic. #NBASky

FINAL: #Magic 112, Pistons 109

Gutsy win from Orlando behind 37 points from Desmond Bane. What a last-second block from Anthony Black, too.

Jamahl Mosley’s squad wins East Group B and is in the NBA Cup quarterfinals.

Orlando ... TOURNAMENT TOUGH.

Black blocks D-Rob 3 at buzzer after brilliant intentional FT miss by Cade.

Magic are top seed and will play Miami or Milwaukee.

AI kind of feels like the endgame of this bit Graeber described in the original Bullshit Jobs essay: these people have been so thoroughly cleaved from any sense of purpose that they resent those who have one. They hate artists for their skill and think poverty should be the price of having a calling

These refs need to get on the same page. Andre Drummond tried to start a fight and put his dukes up and received 1 tech while Jalen Suggs got ejected for a light push coming to WCJ's defense.
Kris Dunn gets ejected for the double technical — the first putting the ball in Luka's chest, the second for going at Jaxson Hayes — and Hayes only gets one for coming to Doncic's defense and shoving Dunn.

The #Magic set a franchise record for most points in a half with 86 tonight.

Previous high was 83 points in the second half of Scott Skiles' 30-assist game against the Nuggets in 1990.

Previous first half high was 81 points in that April game against the Hawks in 2019.
The #Magic score a franchise record 84 points in the first half (most points in any half). Anthony Black scored 20 of his career-high 27 points in the 2nd quarter. #Magic have blown the game open when they need it for NBA Cup purposes.

#Magic lead the #Sixers 86-60 at halftime.
