years ago, before i ever heard about UBI or anything, i had a dream where i was wondering through a city doing odd jobs in a world where nobody was forced to work to survive
it was specifically the "drudge" jobs i was doing, just to help people out, there was literally no monetary benefit

Always grinds my gears when people say "No one would work drudge jobs if there was a UBI"
But even staying completely capitalist, I disagree. If I received a baseline living-wage UBI, and then I was offered REWARDS for drudge jobs, I'd take it! I want to save up for treats and travel and hobbies!

but in single player games they really want to focus on giving you "wins" early on to hook you on the dopamine hit, which also means creating lots of gates

one of the only things i miss from Windows is Sysinternals Process Explorer
the GUI and TUI tools available for Linux are generally hilariously incompetent
like Gnome's System Monitor failing to understand how to sort grouped processes by CPU usage and trying to see open files crashes it lol
