Am I the only one that struggles, not looking things up? I have to fight the urge every book, every time to not look up the background around every new character.

The more I read it the more I am just bored/annoyed by the Aes Sedai chapters in Wheel of Time, at least going into book 5.
Not the people themselves but the white tower chapters, my eyes just glaze over.

Why does French Roast coffee always taste so bad?

Well, finally finished Empire of Silence
Way better book and took me way longer (in a good way) than expected. What a fantastic Sci-fi book.
Now have to decide if I want to start the next one yet tonight or take a night off.

I did not post about it too much and was focused on reading but after 2 days of reading finally finished The Eye of the world. While I think there are things to improved but a solid start to the series.

A lot of people will criticize @johnfetterman.com for visiting trump. Don't. Imo, the best way to win voters is to do all you can to represent your constituents first. Your party last. Voters want results. If he can use Trump to get that. Amen.
