"HL3 Confirmed" is becoming a hot topic and speculation is back again about it.
I just hope I can run it if this is actually it. Rumors so far are that something may be announced at the Game Awards, or at the Steam Machine release.

Nice to see some refreshed hype for Linux distros. There are quite a few new ones I am just learning about oriented to common users, and there seems to be an increase on people adopting it, based on the recent content generated around the topic.
I think that's the way forward.

As time passes, my brain is taking a lil more time each time to decide whether what I'm looking at is AI generated or not. Can still spot it most of the time, but I eventually won't if it keeps getting better. I'm not prepared for AI apocalypse D:

Supposedly, I should resist that tendency of going into auto-pilot when trying to do a drawing exercise, to put intent, but man it's tough. This is true for anything that's repetitive though.

I just briefly smelled gunpowder outside, or something very similar. Took me back for a moment to a kid me that used to play with fireworks near this time of year.
But like, what the hell? I haven't had that scent in years. Likely my head playing tricks on me again.

Built something useful for once. A FreeCAD design I did on the left, and the finished thing on the right. Freshly out of the oven. Simple, but super effective for organization (which I needed). Glad to confirm I can sometimes do useful things :D Pretty happy with my results.

Wow, just noticing #steam announcing new hardware, including the successor of the Index for VR. Pretty cool they are continuing to develop that, and all stuff using Linux as well.
Not gonna lie, I do want a Steam Frame as well xD If it's not overly priced, I might consider getting one next year.

A big downside of working from home while doing a side project, is having to see all my project pieces right next to me and not being able to touch any of that until my daily job is done.
Still, I wouldn't want it otherwise.

VR on Linux? Heck yeah it's very much a thing. Tried the setup with ALVR just now + Into the Radius. Some further tweaks may be needed, but everything is pretty much working as it should via WiFi. Kudos to the folk behind ALVR that made all of this possible.

It's been like 20 days (or more) since I last booted into windows, after I switched to KDE, and honestly, I quite like KDE. Can game on it, can code on it, can make other projects, almost zero issues. However, I will need to eventually address VR on it. Should work too.

Haven't touched my guitars for the entire year, not even once. Will put them away for the time being since I'll be away for a while. "Maybe next year" I'd say, but that's what I said last year. Maybe next year, maybe never :/
