Why do we have money for Argentina while our own people lose their health care? How does this make us great?

It's a GOP trifecta! They should absolutely pass their version of healthcare reform!

Among the best case scenarios for the Dems is a demoralized GOP base that doesn't get off the mat in 2026. That's how you get a colossal wave opportunity that flips the Senate.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

The reason why people don't want to empower the moderate wing of the party like Simon Bazelon and others like want is because they repeatedly capitulate like this.

In the Democratic Party, being moderate is all about capitulating and preventing the voters from feeling the wrath of GOP policies.
weirdly honest messaging from the breakaway mod/institutionalist leaders who blew up the party strategy

they're explicitly giving up. "It wasn't working so we quit" that's the message
