My heart breaks for the students, teachers, and families of Annunciation Catholic School. What should have been a time of joy, learning, and prayer has once again become a nightmare. My thoughts are with the families of those lost and the entire Minneapolis community.

Dr. Lisa Cook is a distinguished economist who has broken down barriers as the first Black woman to serve on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. It is outrageous that President Trump would attempt to fire her without producing a shred of evidence of wrongdoing.

Great news! The Delta Regional Authority is investing $3 million to improve water infrastructure in Perry County and the Town of Carrollton!

I will continue fighting to bring federal dollars to the Black Belt to address our water and sewer needs.
