The optimist in me says that the first half doesn't show how good Man City is but how little a threat Liverpool are.

Mamdani is going to implement Saka Law. Using the word "soccer" will be a felony. Same with referring to "American football" as simply "football".
Mamdani is going to implement Saliba Law. Everyone will have to wear Arsenal kits & stop their friends from scoring.

Brutal to drop points at the death. The Trossard goal deserved to be a winner. Fair play to Sunderland but I expect us to learn from this and come back stronger after the international break

We do want to win the league and will win it. It would have been a different story without six forwards and an attacking midfielder out. With a full squad we win games like this.
A draw is probably a fair result, but if you want to win this league, you have to close those games out.

We are, aren't we?
No shots on target conceded again! My word we are just unbelievable

I wonder if we're now to be criticized for only scoring on headers?

I'm in full agreement with this post.
This has surely been the best half of football that Vikor Gyokeres has played for Arsenal, and probably by some distance? Holding it up, switching play, finding through balls.

Didn't get Cardiff as I'd hope but we'll see them in the semis after they beat Chelsea.
Home to Palace in the QF. Not ideal but much better than playing away against the likes of Newcastle, Man City or Chelsea.

Not always, but sometimes, statistics can be beautiful things.
Liverpool have lost 6 of their last 7 games, conceding 14 goals.
Arsenal have won 7 of their last 7 games, conceding 1 goal.

To quote a famous and great man: I fucking love this club.
Arsenal in October 2025 has been written in history as the perfect month.
6 games. 6 wins. 0 defeats. 12 goals scored. 0 goals conceded. 6 clean sheets.
Mikel Arteta, you’ve created a monster.
