🎃🦇 Just attended the Village Halloween Parade in Greenwich Village!

The parade began in 1973 as a small puppeteer-led walk, and today it’s the largest Halloween parade in the world.

This year is the 52nd annual, featuring around 80,000 costumed participants and an estimated 2 million spectators.
Hands-on learning with a spooky twist! 👻🎃

We had a blast at @penngse.bsky.social Makerspace Open House, experimenting, creating, and celebrating Halloween with STEM-inspired fun.

Standing beneath the magnificent Blue Whale in Hintze Hall — is a reminder of why science education matters. At 82 feet long and weighing over 25 tons, these whales were hunted nearly to extinction.

🎓 A beautiful day exploring University of Oxford — each college feels like its own little world, with unique courtyards, chapels, and gardens — all connected by centuries of tradition and scholarship. The architecture is simply breathtaking, from the spires to the stone archways.

Reminder that most of our political rules & institutions are purely extra-constitutional norms, held together by shared beliefs in democracy & a lot of duct tape, & we’re all out of shared norms & have shredded our last rolls of tape.

“Democracy is a system in which parties lose elections”
🏈🍂 What a perfect fall day to cheer on Wyomissing Area School District Football! Blue skies, and a big win over ELCO EASTERN LEBANON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT, 42 to 7! 💙💛
