My thoughts on Charlie Kirk’s death: I can’t forget the lack of compassion shown for Melissa Hortman or John Hoffman. My hope is that he now has the chance to face them, to reflect, and to understand where he went wrong. That may be the only road to salvation.

Me too. Did you struggle with your 2004 & 2008 vote?

I was ready to say why bother after 2004. If it wasn’t for new expanded absentee voting in my state that year, I would have. My son was scheduled for c-section on November 2008, so I went early and voted and watched it unfold from the hospital.

I mean, throw it on the shadow docket & we could probably have it by Monday, right?
