Was just reminded that DARPA is still flush with research cash and it is clearly the establishment's hope that physical scientists will just turn to research that is functionally an investment in killing people

I'm here to remind us:
Scientists, you have a choice about what you are in the world 🧪

Tylenol caused me to be gay. RFK needs to really go down the rabbit hole so more white straight men don’t have the same fate as me.

If you think killing over politics is crazy, imagine killing over skin color😩😮‍💨

Never let a white person tell you that violence is never the answer. That’s the wrong message stacked on an even worse one.

Where was all this outrage when this happened? Political violence is terrible. Period!

But if dead children were not enough to cause legislative change I can’t see this doing anything either.

Let’s face it, the U.S. has a problem with gun violence. Call it out and let’s do something about it!

Does anyone have any recommendations on articles or books surrounding Black feminist thought?

just finished my first methodological paper (with a Michigan State PhD student) about utilizing AsianCrit as a theory and methodology. Now let the peer review process begin!

Pro Black also means letting Black people exist in ways that differ from your view of Blackness.

If you call yourself an ally but stay silent while your LGBTQIA+ friends are under attack, you’re not an ally but you’re a bystander. We see you.

From medical aid workers to journalists to 100,000 Palestinian lives, Israel’s ongoing genocide has spared no one. These are not accidents of “war” but are deliberate acts of violence, enabled by the U.S. that refuses to hold power accountable.
August 12, 2025 at 9:10 PM
I don’t know how else to say this but if you still support Israel you are a deeply complicit part of an ongoing settler colonial and apartheid regime. You do not care about the lives of the Palestinians nor the genocide that is ongoing!

To echo what Tupac said, “It wouldn’t be L.A. without Mexicans,” but that goes without saying. Los Angeles was once a part of Mexico and is home to the second largest number of Mexicans in the world.

This is alarming: the National Archives are being closed to the public by the Trump Administration.

Obama makes a nuclear deal with Iran to prevent nukes. Trump cancels deal. Iran starts making nuke material. Trump bombs Iran for thinking about making the nukes he enabled. Claims he's keeping America safe. Manipulative, narcissistic, sociopathic

I genuinely believe that to close the empathy gap, we need to read more books. Some recommendations for any adult or young adolescents:

-Catcher in the Rye
-The Street
-Sister Outsider
-Through my eyes

These are just a few examples. If anyone has any other suggestions please comment below.
