Reminder from ABC: The Governor is currently overseas! If a decision has to be made while she's away, next-in-line is the Lieutenant-Governor, the Honourable Christopher Shanahan (Chief Justice), who is "currently administering" Tasmania. #Politas #auspol @polsjournotas01.bsky.social

A few MPs left the HoA chamber shortly after Jeremy Rockliff's contribution. They include independents Miriam Beswick and Rebekah Pentland, JLN MP Andrew Jenner and govt members including Nic Street, Rob Fairs & Felix Ellis (they might have other places to be?). The Greens are up now. #politas

Here's an idea - instead of banning political donations from corporations (constitutional issues here), ALL corporate donations should be publicly disclosed. This would ensure voters can see who’s giving money and to whom, without limiting legitimate political participation #politas #auspol
