I think I agree with a lot in this but I also have complicated feelings about the utopian vision of fandom it endorses.

I have to say, it is a choice to pull out of a book convention on ethical grounds and then stand up your own one day event with a combined ticket price that exceeds the convention when the readers who your decision effects still haven’t been refunded.

A thing I do not recommend is needing to be poked four times and need the vein ultrasound machine in order to get your IV going.
